Corporate responsibility

In today’s world of excessive drinking and alcohol abuse, we at behind bars are committed to promoting responsible drinking. We acknowledge that the use of alcohol in moderation can be beneficial to health and is a key part of society. But it is important to respect the fact that alcohol can become addictive and should not be consumed in excess.

behind bars is also dedicated to the care of the environment, and we strive to ensure that all of our dealings are transparent and ethical.

We believe that it is essential that this ethos is followed by the whole leisure and hospitality industry.

Because of these strongly held views, we make sure that the people we train are made aware of the need to protect not just our planet but also to care for our fellow global citizens by acting responsibly and fairly.

Businesses want to maximise their profits, of course, and we see nothing wrong with that, but the excessive sales of alcohol to gullible people is not acceptable. Where our staff see the unacceptable use of alcohol, they stop further sales to the customer concerned and, if possible, they will offer assistance to the customer.

  • We will not compromise the behind bars code of ethics.
  • We can organise and deliver training courses that cover the
professional supply of ethical bar services.

“The responsible use of alcohol is most important and to ensure that your trainees are well aware of not just their legal obligations, but also their moral obligations connected with the supply of alcohol, is highly creditable. Your professionalism and expertise in responsible drinking is the right way forward.”
